Finished Knitting Objects!
(Why objects and not projects? I just plain do not understand)
So here are a few of my knitted objects!
To be honest there only are a few!
6-9-07

More of the same when I get in a rut; I really get in a rut!
4-1-07 (or somewhere close to that date)

3-6-07
Another one, slow and steady.
1-17-07
I finally finished and other project. (A basic K2P2 hat) Of course it is too warm to wear it; but it is finished.
12/18/06
I finished another easy item. ( I keep finishing the easy stuff not the fun stuff. -Sigh-) This is a scarf out of some of the Red Heart Kids Color. I know that it is against the norms of the knitting world to use Red heart but I had it in the stash and I was trying to find something to make a quick gift for charity. Although I must say that my kids like the colors!

The finally finished Booga Bag !! It was fun and easy and small. i was able to keep it in my briefcase and take it with me everywhere. I finished the knitting some time ago ; It just took me a while to figure out how to get the washing machine on the train.
My daughter seems to like it so I am happy. Few things can make a father happier than a child who appreciates a crafted gift! ( These are made with yarn from my local Yarn store, Butterfly Yarns)
I have also been churning out squares for a charity auction and working on other sweaters in progress. man those things take forever!

I am sorry that the light was a bit too bright this is really a beautiful vairiated blue but the bright light has washed it out. This is another of my train objects. i.e. I only had time to knit it while on the train. It is the Kitchen Cotton Dishcloth pattern from the Dischcloth Botique Website .
Undated
I am into the multiple projects again. I rarely finish any of them, so having these to do easily and quickly on the train or traveling is great!

Here is something i’ve been knitting for Global Health Minitries – Rolled Bandage Project
8-8-06
More 7-25-06
After I finished it it went directly to the bath. My 6 YO could not wait to use it!
After reading the Washcloth threads in the Knitter’s Review Forum I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. It was really easy and the Sugar and Cream Yarn was quite inexpensive. This is a very easy pattern and fairly quick even for a slow knitter like me. It took a few hours, maybe 6-8. The pattern is in the forums but apparently it is a very common pattern because I have found it in a few places on the web.
My second baby sweater. (6/06)
It is the same pattern as the last one, even the same yarn, but this one has little star buttons. I made it for the practice; it will go into the present pile to be used at a later date. My wife gets presents ahead of time and keeps them to pull out when we need them. Saves a lot of last minute stress. We also have a pile of things for last minute birthday invites for the kids. This one is memorable for being made on flights and sitting in hospitals waiting.
Blue Baby sweater 6/06 from a knitting pure and simple pattern.
This was knit in May of 2005 a year ago and this pic shows a years hard wear by my son who loves the sweater. Its warm, soft and because Dad made it. It is from the Vogue knitting on the go series particularly the Kid knits volume.
