KIP – struggling again

You know just when you think things get easier they have a way of coming back at you. I was just getting comfortable knitting on the train when a large amount of work and reading came my way and I took the train time to read.

I have a better hand on my studies now but I am having trouble pulling out the knitting again! It is in my bag but I just do not pull it out. The same people are on the train I am just self conscious about knitting again.

Last week I took my son to basketball practice. Now basketball for 6 YOs is not a very interesting thing, mostly controlled chaos and sometimes I wonder about the controlled part. The parents sit around the Gym watching the kids some parents are reading the paper, others chatting, but most just sit. I usually did my work. Now that I am more caught up on work, I put three things in the trunk of the car:. more work, a novel I am reading, and my knitting. I really wanted to knit but was too embarrassed to knit at a basketball practice so I grabbed the novel. I should have grabbed the knitting.

So this morning I told myself that I would knit but . . I will try again tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow.

New Project

I have been traveling and brought knitting. As I said in a past post I have been struggling with the sweaters so I did what many of my fellow knitters do. I bought more yarn! I realized that at meetings I need a very simple pattern that I do not have to think much about so I started on a log cabin lap blanket from Mason Dixon Knitting_

Update on progress

Still not much going on. working on the same 2 sweaters a bandage and a washcloth. Sigh. I really like the bandages and washcloths because I can finish them. The sweaters seem never ending. I will be traveling so maybe I will get more knitting done.

I finally finished and other project. (A basic K2P2 hat) Of course it is too warm to wear it; but it is finished.

Very Quiet

Well like many of my Blogging friends (and others seem the opposite) I have little going on.  Busy at work, and home but nothing of note.  I have even Knit very little.  I could not help myself and did buy a skein or two of Plymouth Chunky because . . well just because it was there.
