The finally finished Booga Bag !! It was fun and easy and small. i was able to keep it in my briefcase and take it with me everywhere. I finished the knitting some time ago ; It just took me a while to figure out how to get the washing machine on the train.
My daughter seems to like it so I am happy. Few things can make a father happier than a child who appreciates a crafted gift! ( These are made with yarn from my local yarn store, Butterfly Yarns)

I have also been churning out squares for a charity auction and working on other sweaters (WIPs). Man those things take forever!

I am not sure I know what to make of this discussion. There are issues of sanctity of life and healthcare costs and access to life saving treatments all wound up. Lately I’ve been struggling with questions like physician assisted suicide, allocating scare resources ( like hearts) and the ethics of cochlear implants. I just cannot take the energy to grapple with another one!

I have a few more panels finished on the two sweaters I am working on. Just chugging away slowly. oh yeah and playing with the kids!

This is the knitted brain at Boston’s Museum of Science. I was impressed by the accuracy of the model and how good it looks in general! On the other hand can you imagine the looks on people’s faces when they heard the answer to the question, “So, what’cha knitting?”
