Easter Bonnets falling to recession not an April fools story

Well I’ve had a bit of a set back with knitting. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which has slowed me down but now I am starting to get back in the thick of things so I hope to post more soon!

Same piece pictured just minutes apart on different surfaces. They look completely different. I hope I am able to take lighting into account for my final products. i.e. that I know what the lighting might be like where the FO will be used.

Last night I had a great time rolling a few hanks of cotton yarn into balls that I can knit on the road with. But the best part was when my 7 YO son came running over and asked if he could help. The look of intensity on his face as he wrapped the yarn on the ball was wonderful! I still smile thinking about it!

Have you heard about Ravelry? The site is getting attention and it is not even up yet! The concept sounds great, a MySpace for knitters, crochet people and fiber people. That is downright crafty of them. Take a look and see if you think the hype is justified!
